What cookies we use

Lintel uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to defend against cross-site request forgery. We do NOT use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies. We do NOT share data with social networks. We do NOT load any third-party script that itself sets a cookie, except Stripe.js on the Billing settings page (which is essential to taking payments and is described below).

Why we don't ask for consent

The cookies we set are strictly necessary to deliver the service you've asked us for: sign-in, payment processing, and protection against attacks. Under Regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), strictly necessary cookies do not require consent — only disclosure. This page is the disclosure; the banner that appears on your first visit is the notice.

If at any point we introduce non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, A/B testing) we will update this page AND require your explicit consent before any such cookie is set. We will not silently change the cookies we use.

How to manage cookies

You can delete the Lintel cookies at any time via your browser's settings. Doing so will sign you out + the next time you visit you'll see the banner again. Browser developer-tools "Application → Cookies" panels show exactly which cookies are set on your machine.

Questions

Email the contact in the customer trust portal for any cookie-related question. Subject-access requests (including a list of every cookie ever set on your device with Lintel) are available via the Settings → My data flow in the product.
